Riley's Humor & Haley's Pooh Obsession

Ever since Haley got this play kitchen for Christmas Riley thinks it is really funny to go over and pull all of the play food out of it. He does it every day! Lately he has started putting the bucket on his head after he scatters the food all around and he sits there and giggles. It is the funniest thing in the world. He must like the way it sounds because he keeps doing it. It has been so cute to see his humor lately. He has developed a cute little personality and has been socially laughing when other people laugh which he never use to do. We love it! Now on to Haley. She is obsessed (and I am being completely literal) with Winnie the Pooh. If I would let her, she would sit in that chair all day and watch it. We have cut down to an hour in the morning so that mommy can get some school work done and then she can watch a movie in the afternoon after she wakes up from her nap. The rest of the time it is off and the rest of the time she cries for it. I don't know what to do with her! If I try to put any other movie on she cries, if I try to let Riley watch Little Einsteins she cries. It is a circus! Luckily, I have a sister who is somewhat more obsessed with Winnie the Pooh and we have borrowed every movie she owns so that we can switch it up a little. If I never see another Winnie the Pooh movie again in my life it would make me extremely happy. I love my kids!

Toxic Green Pony Walker (Finally!)

Riley finally got his pony walker today! The guy came to drop it off this morning and helped us get it adjusted to Riley's specifications. He seems to tolerate it well but he isn't really sure what to do in it yet. We will start taking it to physical therapy with us and she will start working with him to teach him to use it. It would be really amazing if he could start getting it to move himself. I think that would make him a lot happier to have some mobility not on the the floor. The color is Toxic Green and the little wheels on it light up when you move it. It is pretty radical!

Hop 2 It

Today we went to Clint's brothers little boy Bryson's birthday party. He turned five and they went to a place called Hop 2 It. It has a bunch of blow up slides and bounce houses and a big ball pit. The kids had so much fun. Riley liked the bounce house and the ball pit (he mostly liked to eat the balls which is totally gross but what do you do?) and Haley like the slides and the ball pit. Haley has never been a big fan of bounce houses. I think they scare her a lot, she is like her mommy in this area. Clint and I are trying to do more of these things because we are really bad about being hermits and just staying home all of the time. We realize that we need to go to more things even if we don't want to because our kids are getting old enough that they enjoy it now. We actually had a really fun time which is usually the case if we can just get ourselves to do it. It also wears the kids out which is a plus. :)

Our life lately

I know I have been a slacker but things have been pretty crazy around here. I am working really hard on my schooling right now so that I can get done by April. It would be nice to get a job before the summer hits and we are trying to buy a house. I had my birthday and also Clint and I's six year anniversary in February. He got me a dresser for my birthday and night tables for our anniversary. He put them together and the kids were a great help (or hinder)! The finished products looked very nice though and it has been awesome to have a dresser instead of plastic drawers to put my clothes in. He also gave me a dozen beautiful roses for Valentines Day which is also our anniversary for those of you that don't know. The picture of Haley and I at the piano was just so cute I had to add that one on. She has been really into the piano lately. Mostly she just wants to bang on it. This was our month of February!
