Another Wedding

Clint's brother Travis got remarried on the 20Th of December. The kids looked so cute I had to put some of the pictures of them up.

Scary Santa Claus

This year we went to Gooding 1st ward's Christmas Party so that the kids could see Santa. It was really going to be the last chance before I left and before Christmas for them to get pictures with Santa. I thought that Haley would be a lot better this year than last but she still cried. I don't think it helped that the little girl in front of her screamed the entire time so that made Haley think that this must not be such a great idea. Riley didn't pull off Santa's beard this year! He is pretty fascinated by the whole beard thing usually but he did really good this year. (It also helped that Santa knew that he did this and made sure that his hands weren't anywhere near his face!) Last year Riley almost gave all the kids in the 1st ward a good look at who Santa really was!

Riley's 3rd Birthday!

My baby boy is three! I can't believe that he is so big! We had a little birthday party for him on his actual birthday which was very fun! He got all sorts of good stuff including some Little Einsteins videos, new bedding for his bed and a Pat Pat Rocket which he loves. We had a Little Einsteins birthday party with HUGE cupcakes! Grandma MacArthur was here so that was very fun for her to be here for the festivities.

Clint's weeks off

As you all know by now Clint was gone for about 27 weeks off and on this year. It was a pretty hard year but we got through it pretty well. I helped me have a new appreciation of Clint and how much he really does for us. Since he was gone so much he accumulated quite a bit of comp time which he used up around Christmas. He got to be home for six weeks! He only just went back to work on Jan. 2. It was definitely time though. I think he was getting cabin fever or something. These are some of the pictures that got taken during his time off.

Haley Rae

On December 14Th I went on a little vacation with my mom to help move my sister-in-law and her kids to my brother. I didn't take the kids because we were going to be driving in the car a lot and it would have been a nightmare with the kids with me. It just so happened that Clint was off work for a few weeks (six) and so he got to keep the kids at home while I went without them! I have never left them for this long before so it was a new experience for me. It consisted of me calling three or four times a day making sure they were still alive and that the house hadn't burnt down or something. Actually they did really awesome and Clint had a really good time with them. These pictures were taken while I was gone. Haley has decided that her new favorite place to park it and watch TV is in the toy basket. It was really funny to come home and find these pictures on the camera. She is such a cutie!

New Family Pictures

We finally got some new family pictures done on Thanksgiving for our Christmas cards. I don't think that we have had a full family picture since before Haley was born so we thought it was about time. We usually just put the kids on the Christmas card because they are so cute! But since I have lost 23 pounds recently I decided I could be in a picture again.

Halloween

For Halloween this year the kids were both scarecrows. Riley's costume totally looked like a scarecrow but everybody kept thinking that Haley was a witch. I had to keep politely telling people that she was a scarecrow. They were both stinking cute whatever they were. Clint didn't get to be there so my sister Stacey came up from Logan to hang out with us. We also found out that weekend that Haley is a candy monster. If I let her only have one piece she would cry, if I let her only have two pieces she would cry, and so on. We finally had to hide the candy bowl clear up in the pantry so that she wouldn't see it. Out of sight, out of mind! Grandma Rogers didn't help the situation though, she just kept stuffing the candy in piece by piece! Riley really like the suckers and he was even a big boy and ate them by himself! Well part of it anyway, the rest he threw into the leaves. We took the kids up to Gooding for the trunk or treat and they had a good time going around with all of the kids. Some of the kids definitely had some crazy costumes though! My niece Sami and her friend Jana were the best though. They were the wicked step sisters from Cinderella. The hair was the best!
