Haley's saddle

Clint and his dad went to Pendelton, Oregon this year for the Pendelton round up and Clint came home with this new kids saddle from there. We put it on Charlie so Haley could try it out and it works perfectly! We just need to get her to ride by herself holding the reins now. Clint thinks we need to get a pony for her to learn to ride on. We'll see. I'm not sure I am all the way comfortable with my two year old learning to ride by herself yet anyway!

Riley's new wheels

I know it has been a while since I have posted anything but my life has been a little crazy lately. I have some time now since I have bronchitis and I am not doing anything until I get better. Riley got his new wheelchair! He actually got it in August but like I said, I haven't had time to post. He absolutely loves his wheelchair! The bus even pulls right up to the front door and lets the lift down for him to go to school! It has a tray on it so he can have his crackers and toys on there. It is by far the coolest thing we have gotten for Riley so far. Thank goodness for modern technology!

I know the wait has been killing all of you so here you go! The house is DONE! Well, almost. It needs to be cleaned but other than that it is done. I have included pictures of the whole process from the tearing down of the little house that was there to the finished product. If you want to see it in person I guess ya'll will just have to come and visit when we get moved in!

Coming soon...

Our house is almost done! I have been in Utah for a week and I haven't gotten to see the house all put together except for in pictures that Clint has put on his facebook so when I get back to Idaho tomorrow I will try to blog some of the pictures from the whole process. It has all been very exciting but we are ready for it to be done so we can get moved in and back to normal!

Moving

For those of you that don't know we are moving to Gooding next week. I won't have my own house and my own stuff until about the middle of September so I will be out of blogging commission for the next month or so! I got all caught up though so you shouldn't miss too much between now and then! I will have pictures of our new house once we get all moved in and Internet up and running again!

Rogers Family Reunion

We had the Rogers family reunion last week and we had a really good time! We all stayed in Gooding at Clint's parents house in trailers and in the house. We went to Sligars one day and boating one day and we rode horses and had a dutch oven dinner on night. It was fun to get together with everyone! We all came out of there tired and sore but it was worth it. Thanks to all of the Rogers!

4th of July/MacArthur Family Reunion

We had my family reunion over the 4th this year. We had a lot of fun! We went to Utah which is where most of my family is and we got to go to Freedom Days in Provo and the parade there which our kids LOVED! We also went to the new pool in Payson which was amazing. That was our favorite part I think. We also went up Sundance canyon where the MacArthur side owns a little piece of land that we occasionally go to and build a fire and play in the creek. My kids weren't as impressed with that except for there were lots of treats to be had up there. Haley loved the marshmellows and the oreo cookies that she just kept eating! Then we put our kids to bed and went and watched the Stadium of Fire fireworks with the rest of the older kids. Overall it was a really fun time! We got to see some of my family that we haven't seen in a while and it was cool to be able to spend time with them! Thanks for a fun reunion MacArthur's!
